It's Wednesday today, and this week's letter for abc-Wednesday is "J". I am sure that I will not be the only one to choose the word "Jewellery/Jewelry". But I would be silly to not choose this word, since my blog is supposed to be about jewellery. I had not started to design and make my own jewellery when we got married. Sometimes I wish I could get married all over again, just to make my own wedding jewellery! But I really can't complain. It was a nice wedding, I had a pretty dress, and I got to borrow a lovely green pendant that has a story all its own. I is for ice. For those who wonder why I went to the freezer to fetch some ice cubes, rather than to just go outside and point my camera in any direction at all to find an image of ice: I was just too tired. G is for green. There is so much to say about the colour green. Here in the North we are looking forward to the "green" seasons, spring and summer. There are probably many who, for many different reasons, choose the colour "green" for their G-word today. The Irish, for example, or "Irish at heart", will remember to wear something green on Saint Patrick's Day. But as for me, I am sticking to my commitment to try to post even memes with a jewellery-theme.
